Tuning
$200
Tuning your piano is like getting the oil changed in your car. It should be done every six months, even if the piano is not being played! A tuning takes about 1.5 hours.
If it has been a while since your piano has been tuned, it may need a pitch correction. I do not charge an additional fee for this, but your piano will likely need to be tuned again before the six month mark in order to make it stable.
Regular mechanical maintenance that can be done in 15-20 minutes such as tightening screws, reducing slugishness, adjusting the pedals, etc. is also included during regular tuning visits.

If tuning your piano is the oil change, voicing and regulation is the tire rotation, replacing the brake pads, and replacing the wipers.
Depending on the age and use of your piano, it has different needs. Often, this work is minimal and is included in your regular tuning appointment, but larger projects will require more time.
